To mark the Year of the Snake (2025), this limited-edition snake is modeled on the famous maneki neko cat. The snake's tail resembles a hand and is used to bring good fortune. A cute, round and inviting snake with a smiling face. The left hand is said to invite people in and bring them good fortune, such as prosperity in business and good relationships. Hence the fact that the maneki neko raises its left paw and the snake here uses its tail in the same gesture.
“Pole pole” means ‘slowly, little by little’ in Swahili. Japanese manufacturer T-Lab is committed to perpetuating the craft of woodworking.
