THE HANDMADE WOODEN POLEPOLE ANIMALS
"Pole pole" means slowly, little by little, in Swahili. The Japanese brand T-lab is committed to keeping the art of woodworking alive. Their original minimalist design, round and smooth, makes these animals wonderfully endearing. Cut, carved, finely sanded and finally painted by hand, each piece is slightly different and completely unique!
- Handmade in Bali
- Vegetable-based paint
- Albizia Falcata wood from eco-responsible forests
- Each animal is different and each piece is unique: size and shape may vary

The design is inspired by the "Engimon", a good luck charm handed down through generations in Japan. Notches on the back also allow it to be used as a card stand. Each one comes with a message card featuring a sunrise motif.

ECO-RESPONSIBLE WOODEN ANIMALS
T-lab preserves the natural and remarkably fast growth of Albizia Falcata forests by committing to replant the trees used in its production. It is an entirely natural product, with no chemical treatments or pollutants in either the wood or the paint.
A NATURAL AND MINIMALIST DECORATIVE OBJECT
The simplicity and gentleness of this animal will soothe you throughout the day. It will easily find its place on your desk, and a simple glance at your totem animal will help you forget the worries of everyday life.
The perfect balance between the natural wood colour and the black paint makes it a unique decorative piece that will fit effortlessly into your home. Your polepole animal will look just as good in a bright spot such as a windowsill as tucked away in the shade of a bookcase.
To best complement your interior, place your favourite animal in a setting that suits this kind of design object: a wooden shelf, a Scandinavian-inspired desk or a child's room.
HOW THEY ARE MADE
