The PolePole wooden horse figurine, shown here as the harnessed horse, is part of the Eto series dedicated to the signs of the Chinese zodiac. This wooden horse is hand-carved and hand-painted in Bali, based on a design by the Japanese brand T-lab. In Swahili, "pole pole" means slowly, little by little: a whole philosophy of woodworking.
Cut, carved, sanded and then painted by hand, each wooden horse figurine is slightly different, and therefore unique.
